Description

Tarmida Khaldoon Majid Abdullah performs Lofani, a ritual meal for the dead. His wife, Mrs. Taghreed and his daughter, Ms Noor Majid, help with the ritual. The Tarmida explains the ritual as he goes.

This ritual is the only one in our collection that was performed especially for the 'Worlds of Mandaean Priests' project. Tarmida Khaldoon explains why he has chosen to do this.

Tarmida Khaldoon also mentions his choice to use municipal tap water in rituals.
